Announcing The Prospectors Club

The Prospectors Club harnesses the unique power of New Orleans’ women to provide a base of fundraising and outreach support for Prospect.2. Prospectors are invited to learn more about the artists and programs of Prospect.2 through exclusive presentations and tours, a newsletter, and other events, and to support Prospect.2 within the community at large. Members are encouraged to become involved as a Prospect.2 ambassador, promoting the exhibition to locals and helping visiting artists and out of town visitors to the biennial feel welcome.

Membership is limited to women who reside in the Greater New Orleans community;
Membership requires $1,000 contribution over 2 years for women over 35 and $500 over 2 years for women ages 21-35.

Upcoming Events
June 3, 2010 – The first in a series of in-depth curatorial lectures by Dan Cameron on the artists selected for Prospect.2. Fifteen artists’ names will be revealed exclusively to Prospectors Club members;
Fall 2010 – Tour of local artist’s studios, additional curatorial lectures, as well as other opportunities to learn about Prospect New Orleans at exclusive Prospectors Club events.

Additional lectures and Prospectors events are being planned throughout the year prior to the opening of the biennial in November 2011.
